At Alumee, we are committed to providing a seamless and transparent experience for our customers. This policy outlines the details of our shipping process and clarifies our no-return policy once an order has been processed for final payment.

Processing & Payment

  • Final Sales Policy: Once your order has been processed for final payment, there are no refunds or returns. Damaged or defective parts will be addressed through our warranty process.
  • Order Confirmation: After your deposit is received, a customer design consultant will confirm your unit’s configuration. Once full payment is made, your order will be processed for shipment.

Shipping Methods & Delivery

  • Flat-Packed Shipment:
    • Alumee units are flat-packed for easy transportation and assembly.
    • Each box can be carried by two capable adults.
    • No individual box exceeds 12 feet in length or 80 lbs in weight.
  • Number of Boxes: Varies based on model and configuration.
  • Liftgate Delivery Service:
    • Orders are delivered via a liftgate-equipped carrier.
    • Unloading occurs directly onto your driveway or an accessible front-of-property space.

Receiving Your Shipment

  • Signature Required: You must be present to receive and inspect your Alumee unit. Orders will not be left unattended or unsigned.
  • Inspection Upon Arrival:
    • Carefully inspect each box upon delivery.
    • Note any visible damage or missing components on the delivery receipt.
    • Contact customer support immediately if issues arise.
  • Delivery Timeframe:
    • Standard delivery: 4–6 weeks from final payment (varies by location & product availability).
    • Tracking details provided upon shipment.

Returns & Warranty Process

No Returns or Refunds

  • Due to the custom nature of Alumee products, returns and refunds are not accepted once final payment is made and your order is processed for shipment.

Damaged or Defective Parts

  • If any part of your unit is damaged or defective upon delivery, Alumee will resolve it through our warranty process.

Warranty Coverage

  • Aluminum Structural Components: 10 years against material defects.
  • Honeycomb Roof Panels: 2 years (excludes damage from excess snow, storms, or falling objects).
  • Optical-Grade Polymer Window Film: 2 years against manufacturing defects (excludes punctures or impact damage).

How to File a Warranty Claim

    • Order details
    • Description of the issue
    • Photos for evaluation

Additional Considerations

  • Order Cancellations:
    • Can be canceled within 48 hours of purchase.
    • After 48 hours, production begins, and cancellations are not accepted.

    • Check with local bylaw offices before installing your Alumee unit to ensure compliance with regional building codes.
