But we know that life happens. And while our products are built tough and designed to last, we also back them up with a warranty that’s as thoughtfully crafted as your unit itself. Whether it’s aluminum beams, honeycomb roof panels, or the protective window film, we’ve got your back—because we believe peace of mind should come standard.

This warranty is our way of standing behind the quality of what we build—and standing beside you long after your happy place is complete. So, take a deep breath, relax, and know that you’re covered.

Now, let’s get into the details (just in case you ever need them) ...


This limited warranty applies solely to purchase made in Canada not earlier than [DATEJune 3rd 2025] directly from Alumee Outdoor Living Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").


 

1. What This Warranty Covers

This warranty is provided to the original purchaser of our modular backyard units and applies solely to typical residential, non-commercial use. The warranty applies solely to the following components:

  • Aluminum Structural Components:
    Covered for 10 years from the date of delivery against defects in material and workmanship and solely under normal use and environmental conditions typical for the location of delivery. 

  • Honeycomb Roof Panels:
    Covered for 2 years from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from excessive snow accumulation, natural weather disasters, storms, falling trees, or other external forces.

  • Window Film:
    Covered for 2 years from the date of delivery against manufacturer defects.The warranty does not cover damage caused by impact, punctures or misuse. 

 


 

2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

In addition to the exceptions set out in other places in this document, the warranty provided hereunder does not cover:

  • Damage due to improper assembly or installation not in accordance with our instructions.

  • Modifications, alterations, or repairs made without our prior written approval.

  • Damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, or intentional acts or abuse.

  • Environmental damage, including but not limited to snow accumulation, hail, windstorms, flooding, or other natural disasters.

  • Normal wear and tear, scratches, dents, fading, discolouration, rust, mildew, or cosmetic changes that do not affect structural integrity.

  • Use of the product for commercial purposes or in communal living settings.

  • Costs related to removal, reinstallation, transportation, or consequential losses.

  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers, or second-hand sales.

  • Failure to perform regular maintenance and care as set out in materials provided by us including, but not limited to, our Care and Maintenance Guide

  • Anything not explicitly covered by the terms set out in this warranty or required to be covered under applicable law. 

 


 

3. Who Is Covered

This warranty is available only to the original purchaser of the product purchased directly from Alumee Outdoor Living Inc. or our authorized distributors. It is non-transferable and applies only to products used in residential settings.

 


 

4. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, you must:

  • Assemble the product following the provided instructions exactly.

  • Perform routine maintenance (e.g., clearing snow accumulation, cleaning roof panels, tightening bolts if necessary) and care, including but not limited to the care and maintenance procedures set out in materials provided by us including, but not limited to, our Care and Maintenance Guide.

  • Use the product for its intended purpose and for non-commercial use only.

  • Register your purchase within 30 days of delivery at hello@alumee.com.

  • Retain documentary proof of purchase which may include either your (order confirmation or receipt.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may void this warranty.

 


 

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To file a claim, you must:

  • Provide proof of purchase and photos clearly showing the defect for which the warranty is calimed.

  • Submit your claim during the applicable warranty period and [five (5)] days of the defect becoming discoverable. 

We may require that you return the defective part(s) for inspection before issuing any remedy.

 


 

6. What We Will Do

If your claim is approved, we will, at our sole discretion:

  • Provide replacement parts (identical or functionally equivalent), or

  • Repair the defective component.

Shipping fees for replacement parts may be the customer's responsibility unless otherwise required by law.

Note: Replacement parts are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period — they do not start a new warranty.

 


 

7. Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

EXCEPT WHERE AND SOLELY TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY ALUMEE OUTDOOR LIVING, INC. WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

 


 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for any damages arising out of or related to the use, inability to use, misuse, improper installation, or modification of our products, including but not limited to personal injury/death, property damage, economic loss, or any other loss allegedly caused by the product, whether arising from negligence, breach of warranty, strict liability, or otherwise.

  • This includes damages resulting from failure to follow installation or operating instructions, inadequate maintenance, abnormal use, accidents, acts of nature, misuse, abuse, vandalism, negligence, or other improper or careless acts, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable.

  • In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, or inconvenience.

  • Our maximum liability, under any legal theory, is strictly limited to the amount paid by the purchaser for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

 


 

9. Your Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from province to province. If any provision of this warranty is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be construed, modified, or limited to the minimum extent necessary to most closely reflect the original intent of the parties in a legally enforceable manner, and the remainder of the warranty shall remain in full force and effect.
